On Thursday, 11/05/2009, from 3:00 AM to 6:59 AM, the IT Networks & Security Data Team will be upgrading a portion of the BoilerNet network to meet the new Purdue Network 2010 standard. Specifically the network will be upgraded in the Burton Morgan Entrepreneur Center (MRGN).
AFFECTED CLIENTS: Clients within MRGN should plan to experience disruption of both wired network connectivity (via data PIC) and wireless network connectivity (via PAL/PAL2.0).
SCOPE OF WORK: During the scheduled outage window, affected clients in MRGN should plan to experience service disruptions for up to 3.5 hours in duration.

On 11/5/2009 beginning at 10:00 PM ITNS (Brad Devine) will rename the current Storage-Servers-1 firewall context back to Windows-Servers-1. This is being done to eliminate confusion due to the fact that this firewall context includes other Windows application servers as well as the current Storage admin servers. This name better reflects its purpose. There will be about a 2 minute downtime for the following servers:
